Meets Minimalism

Where History Meets Minimalism: A Corporate Dinner at Vizcaya
This is what a luxury corporate dinner looks like inside one of Miami’s most iconic historic venues, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens—where timeless architecture set the stage for a study in elegant minimalism. The design felt airy, crisp, fresh, and bold all at once, allowing the beauty of the surroundings to guide every decision.
Cocktail hour unfolded at the Mound with a simple yet striking floral installation beside the harpist, paired with a custom-built bar finished in sand and stone textures that blended seamlessly into the rocky dust floors and historic façade. A soft taupe palette anchored the space, while the monochromatic green florals paid quiet homage to Vizcaya’s century-old gardens.

Under the clear tent, perfectly aligned royal tables were custom designed and built with sunken floral installations, allowing serving plates to stack effortlessly above glass risers for family-style dining. Once cleared, the florals remained visually intact, as if untouched—an intentional detail that balanced form and function.
Of course, low sculptural tablescapes encouraged conversation throughout the evening, complemented by smoked glass stemware that added just a hint of drama. Minimalist by design and layered with purpose, the evening became an exercise in thoughtful simplicity—proof that sometimes, restraint is the ultimate luxury.
