Caro & Marco

Vows in Vogue: Caro & Marco
When our fashionable New York couple decided to tie the knot in Miami, they envisioned a reception that seamlessly blended the best of both worlds: her vibrant Cuban roots and their shared, sophisticated New York life.
Our design mandate from Planner/Designer team Elle Events was clear: transform the Art House at Fairchild Tropical Gardens into a "one-of-one" big-band jazz club—a singular statement that defied conventional wedding rules. Together, we dismissed formalities like communal guest tables, floor-length linens, charger plates, and lush, overflowing florals.
Instead, we opted for chic, bistro-style seating accommodating four to six guests, bespoke lamps, and minimal yet profoundly meaningful floral touches.

Our more meaningful contribution to this exclusive night, to render the ballroom unrecognizable. A tasteful, meticulous transformation included a full wallpaper installation and tailored draped moments, intentionally leaving only the venue’s classic oak columns and sconces exposed.
The floor was strategically "faux-tiled" to evoke a vintage, speakeasy-inspired Spanish pattern. The stage, tiered and customized, was perfectly appointed with bandstands. The bars, designed soup-to-nuts, featured intricate fringe detailing and integrated lighting. All for one unforgettable evening, and absolutely worth every moment.
