Honoring Life: A Día de los Muertos–Inspired Halloween
This Halloween corporate celebration reimagined Día de los Muertos as a vibrant tribute to lives past, blending cultural reverence with bold, contemporary design. From the moment guests arrived, the experience unfolded as a celebration of color, craft, and meaning—layered with rich textures, glowing candlelight, and saturated hues inspired by traditional Mexican artistry.
Outdoors, cocktail hour set a relaxed, welcoming tone with woven furniture, patterned textiles, and casual vignettes that echoed the warmth of a festive plaza. Inside, the space transformed dramatically, anchored by a custom-built, thirty-two-foot bar complete with swinging doors—designed as both a visual statement and a gathering point for the evening.

A fountain-like food tower rose from the room like a modern altar, inviting guests to discover thoughtfully crafted bites nestled among fresh flower buds and flickering candles. Nearby, a truck overflowing with vibrant fruit doubled as both a food station and an installation, adding to the layered sensory experience.
To preserve the authenticity of the celebration, tablescapes were intentionally composed with mismatched vases collected over weeks, favoring character and individuality over uniformity. And just when the design felt complete, our team took it one step further—hand-painting a modern interpretation of Mexican pottery for the cocktail bar. Because when the story calls for detail, we believe in answering it fully.
