Vibrant Lines, Endless Joy: Inside a Doodle-Driven Celebration
Step into a world where youthful exuberance met modern artistry at this doodle-themed Bar Mitzvah hosted at the iconic Pérez Art Museum Miami. Every surface felt like a page from a joyful sketchbook, brought to life by a vision that began with a commissioned art piece from Miami-based artist Vic Garcia.
Bold black-and-white graphic patterns anchored the space, while bright pops of color added energy and movement throughout. Carefully curated with countless unique moments, the design delivered all the unexpected details that define a true Gilded event.

From oversized doodle-men focal points complete with giant Sharpies, to a playful laundromat swag station where sweatshirts were pulled straight from the “dryers” for guests, each vignette felt contemporary, personal, and full of character.
One of the evening’s standout moments was a delightful collaboration with Mexican designer Julie Junk, who flew in to create the ultimate candy shop—bringing the perfect mix of style, sugar, and spice.
Framed by the vibrant architecture of the museum, every bespoke element came together to transform the night into a living canvas of celebration, turning this milestone into a truly personalized artistic experience.
